Poon, Asyraq & Lisa (PAL) is an independent law firm founded by a lawyer who chose Penang and chose to stay. We put down our roots here on 24 July 2017 and have been here ever since.
As entrepreneurs ourselves, we believe that good legal advice should also make commercial sense. That means being practical, being efficient, and always keeping your best interests in mind.
The law can feel overwhelming. We won't make it worse. We use plain language, keep you informed, and make sure you are never left in the dark.

Poon Lee Fah

Lee Fah has practised for over a decade across corporate advisory, real estate, civil litigation and family matters, and sits on the boards of listed companies in Malaysia and Singapore.
She graduated with Honours in Law from the University of London in 2012 and passed the Certificate in Legal Practice before completing her pupillage in Penang under the mentorship of Mr. Y. C. Wong of Messrs. Y. C. Wong.
Beyond her listed company appointments, she is a director of several private companies, including one holding some 2,300 acres of land, where her focus is governance and shareholder matters. Board experience gives her a view of how decisions are made on the other side of the table, and she brings it to every client matter at PAL.
In 2019, she was recognised as one of Penang's Top 50 Influential Captains and Upcoming Leaders Under 50.
Outside of practice, she gives her time to those who need legal help but cannot pay for it, and acts as legal advisor to several associations in Penang.
She founded PAL in 2017, starting slow and small, and spent years earning the trust of her clients one matter at a time. She has since acquired a 60-year-old building in Pulau Tikus, which she tore down and rebuilt. It was not the easy choice. It was her way of saying she intends to stay.
